After a little more than a month, this account has 2000 pageviews and 128 watchers with only 14 pages of Giving In thus farr... Whooo~~~

Just in case no one had noticed but I when I update my pages I usually update at least two pages, three if I have the time and I feel nice, and 4 if I feel REALLY nice and I have LOTS of time (though I doubt I will ever be able to update 4 pages in one sitting XD). But yeah, at least two pages so when I upload one page, just wait a few minutes or so for the 2nd page and if that Artist's comment page does not have "Coming whever" near the end like I always do, then there would be a third page. Just a little heads up for the next time I update~~

Rant Mode! (You may ignore this if you like)

So from journal entry two entries before this, I expressed my DEEP DISLIKE of the USUK pairing (saying something along the lines of "if USUK is a actual pairing of Giving In, I will rage(quit) but not really quit, just rage" and I had a comment saying that they were confused to why I hate USUK so.

I am not singling anyone out but it just works well with my rant but their comment was:
"I don't get it. Do you dislike USUK because of the whole "England raised America"?
Canada and America are brothers. Blood brothers. It's canon. At least England isn't blood related.
I'm just bringing this up because that's a little.... strange.

Then again, I have no issue with incest. I love Germancest and Italycest. I just hate USCan."

And me being the loser that I am and an avid USCAN fan, wrote a long-ass reply:
"Ahaha I hate USUK because my favourite pairing in Hetalia is USCAN and I have many more reasons but generally that's it in a nutshell. It gets tiring after awhile when all you want is USCAN but USUK is constantly shoved into your face.

My reasoning is different. I do not think America and Canada are brothers; they share the same face, sure, but they're not (blood) brothers. Just because they come from the same "piece of land" does not make them brothers. That's like saying everyone in Eurasia and Eurafrica are all siblings and obviously that is impossible. Actually, I do not think any nation is "blood related" to any other nation unless they are one nation together (like Germany+Prussia or North+South Italy). Canada and America are DIFFERENT countries/nations on their own (though they may share some traditions or what) thus they are not "related".

I personally find UK and US are more related to eachother than US and Canada since UK FOUNDED US just as France founded Canada (I do not like Franada either.) US' and Canada's "origins" are different and thus, less related. I really, really hate USUK and the only reason why I think that pairing is popular and not USCAN is because Canada is not a main character and thus more people are prone to pairing main characters together than a main character + side character even though America's and Canada's relationship in the REAL world is closer than US + UK's relations. I personally find USCAN more canon if one were to look at history, geography, current events and prolly even in the future while US+UK is a history lesson long over."

But this is Hetalia-universe so yeah... Hell USUK is even more popular than GerIta which is, supposely, the main main characters of Hetalia XD. Funny how that works.

Thinking it over, maybe USUK would still be popular than USCAN even if Canada IS a main character of Hetalia; I mean who wants to be paired up with a quiet (and yet so very adorable) nobody? That and I think Americans (who I would bet are mostly USUK fans) are constantly forgetting about their northern neighbour (hey, it isn't in Hetalia for nothing). Like the quote from J. Bartlet Brebner - "Americans are benevolently ignorant about Canada, while Canadians are malevolently well-informed about the United States." So very true and so very sad.

I dislike it how people are saying that America and Canada are brothers because they were "brought up together" but those same people are vehemently turning a blind eye to the fact that England RAISED America from when he was little. America and Canada's relationship can be viewed as childhood friends who lived near each other and grew up together (they, afterall, have different founders) while England, if one were to look at the "relational" aspect is very much the FATHER of America. And the fact that America and Canada have the same face or they look similar has nothing to do with blood relations! It is very much possible to meet a complete stranger who looks very much similar to you (my two younger sisters strangely have their counterparts) and have siblings who look NOTHING like you (like my sisters to each other).

And thus, wraps up my whole "AMERICA AND CANADA ARE NOT RELATED" rant (but they could call each other brothers if they like... kind of like guys with their "homies" XD) and that England and America are very more "related" to each other. Even if they weren't related, England brought up America as a child and putting them together is rather off-putting. Like from another commenter (not singling you out either) from the same journal entry:
"ANYWAYS. I really dislike USUK. As much as I dislike Franada. Actually.. almost any pair where it's them raising them from childhood. Seems.. so creepy. Like they raised them simply so they could molest them. :"

THAT'S IT! SO LONG EH?!?! I HAVE MY REASONS FOR NOT LIKING USUK AND THEY ARE VERY GOOD ONES!! But.. this is the Hetalia-universe... so eh... >.>... *waits in fear for flames from USUK lovers* Everyone's entitled to their likes and dislikes >.>... (I do not hate USUK lovers, I just hate USUK.)

I agree with this and even if they are related there is no reason to believe that they even have DNA so as far as genetics go they would be fine. Plus the only reason people started hating incest was because of superstition that the children were 'cursed by God' because of deformities.
